4.7/5(24267 reviews)Find your cat in one tap, even when they’ve gone far - with the most reliable real-time GPS. The smallest model on the market.
Weenect XS is built on InfinityTrack™ — our proprietary GPS technology designed for maximum reliability.
That’s where Weenect XS changes everything. The most reliable real-time GPS designed specifically for cats, giving you continuous visibility, so you always have the information needed to act.
Weenect XS brings together precision, reactivity, connectivity and longevity — turning advanced GPS technology into practical protection.
Live updates — not “last seen” positions.
Unlike AirTags, which show the last detected location, Weenect XS uses true GPS technology to locate your cat, instead of relying on nearby Apple devices or short-range Bluetooth signals.
Real GPS — not identification only.
Microchips help identify owners once the cat is found. Both are complementary, but Weenect XS helps you find them before that becomes necessary.
Weenect XS is engineered to have the most reliable, continuous GPS protection — not occasional proximity alerts. Because when it comes to your cat, safety and precision should be all that matters.

We have been with Weenect for several years and have found the GPS service fantastic to find our cat over the fields and farmland where we live - we also need it to find various lost collars - this time the collar was lost in thick bushes and couldn’t be retrieved so we’ve sent for another which was a smooth transition and we look forward to receiving it over the next few days x thank you Weenect

Our cat went missing for 3 weeks recently and we were very lucky to get him back thanks to him being spotted. We live in quite a remote area and were beside ourselves as he's only young. This prompted us to get a tracker. We are quite amazed at how far he travels every night despite him being neutered. We wish he wouldn't go so far but at least now we know where to look if he disappears again. The tracker has been a godsend. He tolerates the size and weight of it well. Very happy with this oroduct.

MuscatGodfrey, Sept. 29, 2026Cat tracker review after years of use
We’ve been using these trackers for a few years now on our male 4 yr old and female 5 yr old. 99% of the time they’ve worked very well, just once we had to send our female cats away for repair which took quite a few weeks to turn around. Other than that, accuracy is good and the features , ring, vibrate and light all work well. Our male cat comes to a few rings. The female cat not so much, but at least we know where she is. We like the collars with the exception of the bands which eventually break and I think need improvement or at least adding as an accessory to buy.

I've been able to track my new cat to know where he roams. So interesting to see how he navjgates in the dark, each day exploring a new area. He's obviously mapping out the whole area. It has given me peace of mind that he knows how to find his way back to his new home. I was in a panic one day because he'd slipped his collar. Luckily he came home and I was able to locate the tracker.
Caroline, Sept. 23, 2026We LOVE
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Weenect trackers! We have three cats, and being able to track them gives us so much peace of mind. The accuracy has been amazing in our experience. My biggest tip is to take the time to read and understand how the system works, including GPS satellite tracking, GSM/cellular connectivity, power-saving areas, and how these settings affect battery life. Every household and yard is different, so learning what works best for your setup makes a big difference. We couldn’t be happier! This product works and works very well.

Really eased the worry of letting my kitten outside and the functions of the bell help me know where abouts he is and the buzzer is his signal to come home for food
Em, Sept. 6, 2026Perfect tracker for smaller dogs and cats.
We chose this particular collar because our cat is quite small. There are other collars on the market but this is the best value for money and does everything we could ask for. I have needed to contact customer service a couple of times whether that be through problems with the tracker or problems with The GPS or systems going down but that’s very rare and and they have always responded in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend this tracker, especially if you have a small cat like we do.

The Weenect XS GPS cat collar receives satellite signals (GPS, Galileo, Beidou, Glonass) to determine its position, then transmits that position to Weenect's servers via its built-in SIM card. This data is then displayed on your app, from which you can track your pet in real time. A good network connection is required to ensure optimal tracker performance.
The patented InfinityTrack™ technology enhances the accuracy and reliability of tracking through simultaneous access to multiple satellite constellations and an AI-enhanced hybrid algorithm. It offers true real-time tracking with the Superlive 1-second mode, continuous connectivity via its multi-network eSIM compatible in over 170 countries, and optimised battery life through intelligent power management. This technology guarantees stable, fast, and high-performance positioning, even in challenging areas.
Thanks to its multi-network SIM card, our GPS cat tracker works in real time and without distance limits in over 170 countries. You can locate your cat anywhere in the world. Only very isolated areas with no signal may temporarily reduce the quality of the tracker's connection.
Yes, the Weenect XS GPS collar makes it easy to find your cat if they go missing. Thanks to real-time location tracking and safety zone alerts, you can monitor their movements continuously and intervene quickly to bring them home safely, even if they have wandered very far.
To install and configure your cat's GPS:
1. Download the Weenect app on your smartphone (iOS or Android).
2. Create your account and choose your subscription.
3. Attach the tracker to the supplied adjustable collar, or to your own collar or harness, using the silicone case provided.
Your cat is now ready to be tracked in real time, anywhere and safely.
The GPS cat tracker offers up to 7 days of battery life with power-saving zones, and around 2 days with continuous tracking.
Charging is simple and takes only two hours. The Weenect app keeps you informed in real time of the battery level, and a light indicator on the tracker confirms it is charging. Once the battery is full, the light turns green and a notification lets you know the tracker is ready to use.
Yes, you can track multiple cats under a single Weenect account. The app lets you add unlimited trackers, giving you an overview of all your pets on a shared map. However, each tracker requires its own subscription, as each device has a separate SIM card.
The Weenect XS GPS collar is designed to fit all cats from 3 kg upwards. Weighing just 27 grams, it is the world's smallest GPS tracker with real-time tracking (60.5 mm long × 24.5 mm wide × 15 mm deep), making it lightweight, discreet, and perfectly suited to a cat's physique and comfort.
The GPS tracker comes with an anti-strangulation flexible collar, specially designed for cats. Thanks to its flexibility, the cat can free itself if it gets caught on an obstacle, ensuring safe use adapted to its natural movements.
The main accident risks for cats are primarily linked to their environment (fights, disappearances, traffic) rather than to wearing a collar. When specifically designed for cats and adapted to their physique, a collar can be worn safely.
The Weenect GPS collar requires a subscription because it is fitted with a built-in SIM card that continuously transmits the pet's GPS position via the mobile network. The subscription is therefore essential to guarantee real-time tracking and unlimited range. The tracker is, in effect, the animal's phone.
There are GPS trackers without a subscription, but they do not offer the same accuracy, nor the same responsiveness, as they cannot transmit positions in real time and/or without distance limits. They are therefore unsuitable for tracking animals, which can go very far, very quickly.
You can modify, replace or cancel your subscription at any time from your personal account, on your phone, or computer.
The Weenect GPS collar and the microchip serve different but perfectly complementary purposes.
The microchip is solely used to officially identify your cat: if lost, it allows vets or shelters to find the owner, but it does not allow the animal itself to be located. The GPS cat tracker allows you to find the animal, wherever it is, with real-time tracking and unlimited range. There is no equivalent in the form of a GPS chip or implant, for reasons of size and technology.
In summary: the chip finds the owner, the GPS finds the animal. Together, they offer optimal protection for your companion.
The Weenect XS GPS cat collar and Apple's AirTag serve very different purposes.
The AirTag uses Bluetooth technology, with a maximum range of around 50 metres. It relies on the Apple device network nearby to locate the object beyond this limit and does not allow real-time tracking. This dependency severely limits its effectiveness for animals, especially in suburban or rural areas. Furthermore, it poses a real health risk if the animal swallows it. This is why Apple does not recommend using the AirTag for dogs and cats.
The Weenect XS, on the other hand, is a genuine GPS tracker. It connects to satellites and the mobile network, enabling real-time, precise, and unlimited-range location tracking, wherever your cat may be. Designed specifically for animals, it also offers safety zones, a recall training module, a movement history, and a built-in torch to find your cat even in the dark.
